Daisy passed away in Tavares Florida on the 20th of March 2025. She and husband Edward (Ed) Jones were to celebrate their 58th Wedding Anniversary on the 28th of March. They were married in 1967. Both she and Ed were born in West Virginia but moved to Ohio, then eventually settled many years ago in Lake County Florida. Daisy retired as a Dietician Supervisor.

At Mt. Hope West Virginia, Daisy was one of ten children born to Donald and Dorothy (Moter) Tanner. Her parents predeceased her. Surviving her is the Love of her life, husband Ed. Also, her four sons, Charles, James, and DeWayne Jones, and Dan Bailey; her surviving siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and the rest of her extended family and many great friends and neighbors. Honoring her request, there will be no services or visitation.
