Daniel L. Mattison, age 70 was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He resided in Griffith, IN, Westville, IN, and in Orlando, FL. He is survived by wife Jacqueline Bach Mattison of Orlando, Fl.,  brother Gary (Julie) Mattison of Mattawan, MI, sister in law Pamela Mattison of Portage, MI.  Stepchildren James Bach,  Sherri Ferguson, and  Gerald Bach, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many loving family and friends.

Preceding him in death, parents Helen and Robert, brother Jeff, grandparents, aunts, and uncles

Dan served  active and reserve in the United States Navy for 35 years, and 19 years for Inland Steel.  He had a bachelors, and a masters degree in computers.

He received a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Good Conduct Medal.

Dan loved his family and friends, and every dog he came in contact with.  He loved music, going out to dinner, and dancing.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Baldwin Brother Orlando Chapel from 6-8 pm.

A memorial service will be held in the Spring in Indiana and burial of his ashes will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Michigan.
