Daniel Medina, 56, of Port Charlotte, Florida, unexpectedly passed away on May 8, 2026, leaving his family, friends, and all who knew him heartbroken by his sudden passing.

Born on February 28, 1970, in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Edith Santos Santizo and the late Angel Luis Medina. Daniel was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend. For 35 years, he shared a devoted marriage with his wife, Marta Medina, building a life rooted in love, family, and togetherness.

Daniel worked as a painter and took pride in his work and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he was known most for his personality—always laughing, telling jokes, and bringing joy into every room he entered. He loved good food, enjoyed watching movies, and found happiness in the simple moments spent with the people he cared about.

His greatest pride and joy were his children, Natasha Medina, Danny Medina, and Michael Medina, as well as his three grandchildren, whom he adored dearly. Family meant everything to Daniel, and he created countless memories that his loved ones will cherish forever.

Daniel will be remembered for his warm heart, his humor, and the way he could make anyone feel welcome and at ease. His unexpected passing has left a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but his spirit will continue to live on through his family and the memories they shared.
