Daniel Lee Ragsdale (Raggy), 71, passed away on February 28, 2026.  Dan was born in Monroe, Michigan, and attended Deerborn High School. Dan worked for the Lee County School District for over 30 years.  He made friends easily and had many among his colleagues.  He was very involved in the Remote-Control Car Club.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Ragsdale.  

Dan is survived by his wife, Karen Ragsdale; his daughter, April Chlebos; and brother, Michael Ragsdale and his family; mother, Rose Ragsdale; stepchildren, Randall Labree, Douglas Labree, and Angela Slayton; grandchildren, Alex, Angel, Dylan, Zoei, and Brysun; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Markie, Karter, and Faye.  He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

The family would like to extend our thanks to everyone at Vitas for all their support and kindness at this time.  Per his request there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
