Daniel
Ramos
Dec 12, 1946 — Jun 25, 2026
Orlando, FL
Daniel "Danny" Ramos, a beloved father, grandfather, friend, entrepreneur, community leader, media pioneer, and champion of Hispanic culture, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026 at 79 years old. His passing marks the close of an extraordinary life dedicated to serving others, preserving cultural heritage, and creating opportunities that enriched countless lives across the globe.
For more than four decades, Danny devoted himself to uplifting the Hispanic community through education, business development, the arts, media, and nonprofit leadership. His vision was simple yet profound: to leave every community stronger than he found it. Guided by compassion, determination, and an unwavering belief in the potential of others, he built organizations and initiatives whose impact will continue for generations.
Danny began his community leadership in New York, where he became an advocate for minority-owned businesses and Hispanic cultural advancement. Among his early accomplishments, he helped organize one of New York State's first Minority Business Conventions and played an instrumental role in establishing the Hispanic World's Fair. He also helped produce one of the largest Hispanic cultural festivals in New York, bringing together businesses, artists, civic leaders, and families to celebrate the richness and diversity of Hispanic heritage. These formative experiences established the foundation for a lifetime devoted to service and community empowerment.
After relocating to Central Florida, Danny became one of the region's most respected Hispanic leaders. Recognizing the importance of celebrating professional excellence, he founded the National Hispanic Corporate Achievers, an organization that has honored hundreds of Hispanic executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals from leading corporations throughout the United States. Through scholarships, educational programs, leadership conferences, and recognition events, the organization inspired generations of young professionals to pursue excellence while remaining connected to their cultural heritage.
Danny also believed that informed communities are stronger communities. With that vision, he founded Hispanics SpeakOut TV, a groundbreaking public affairs television program that aired for fourteen consecutive years throughout Central Florida. The program became a trusted platform for meaningful conversations about education, healthcare, immigration, entrepreneurship, consumer protection, and civic engagement. Elected officials, educators, healthcare professionals, business leaders, attorneys, and nonprofit organizations all found a welcoming forum where important issues affecting Hispanic families could be discussed openly and respectfully.
His passion for media continued with the creation of Latina Role Model TV, a program dedicated to recognizing Hispanic women whose leadership and accomplishments inspired others to pursue their dreams and serve their communities.
A lifelong advocate for the arts, Danny believed that preserving culture meant preserving identity. He founded the Raíces Festival, which grew into one of Central Florida's premier celebrations of Hispanic music, dance, food, art, and tradition. In 2021, he realized another lifelong dream by establishing the Arte Mundial Museum Gallery, the region's first permanent museum dedicated exclusively to Hispanic artists and cultural preservation. Through exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural events, the museum became a lasting tribute to the creativity and contributions of Hispanic communities from around the world.
Danny's entrepreneurial spirit was equally inspired by his heritage. He created Boricua Beer and Taíno Beer, brands that reflected Hispanic pride and celebrated cultural history and traditions. To him, entrepreneurship was never simply about business—it was another way to celebrate culture, create opportunity, and bring people together. Even in his later years, he remained committed to relaunching these brands as part of a broader vision to support cultural initiatives and community development.
Throughout his career, Danny also championed causes addressing education, healthcare awareness, domestic violence prevention, anti-human trafficking efforts, homelessness outreach, consumer education, leadership development, faith-based service, and small-business growth. He was known for building bridges among businesses, nonprofit organizations, government leaders, educators, artists, and community advocates, always believing that collaboration could accomplish far more than any individual effort.
While Danny's professional accomplishments were remarkable, those who knew him best will remember his generous heart, warm smile, boundless optimism, and genuine interest in helping others succeed. He celebrated the accomplishments of others with the same enthusiasm as his own and found his greatest fulfillment in mentoring future leaders, supporting artists, encouraging entrepreneurs, and strengthening families and communities.
Above all else, Danny was a devoted father and grandfather. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his wisdom, generosity, and unwavering love. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Nayibe Ramos Correll, his beloved son,Najib Ramos, his grandchildren, extended family, and countlessfriends, colleagues, and community members whose lives were forever touched by his kindness, mentorship, and vision. His family is committed to carrying forward the mission and values that defined hisremarkable life.
