Daniel George Venn, born in 1949 in Lynn, Massachusetts , lost his battle with cancer, at the age of 71, June 15, 2020, in Orlando, Florida.

His parents John, and Helen Venn raised him and his six siblings as Catholic, but he made a point of charting his own course through life.

Dan always had a screw loose, even as a child. He had a tendency to withdraw and push those closest to him away. But he always had a sharp intellect, was the most charismatic person in any room he walked into, and always had an eye out for the next big thing.

Dan was an inventor. Some of his inventions include Suntoos and Soul Cards. He was also a prodigious salesman. he could sell sand at the beach.

When he was in good spirits, there was never anyone funnier or more generous and he went out of his way to help those around him.

Dan traveled a lot, and he did a lot. Much of those stories will disappear with Dan, because he spent most of his life away from his loved ones. Everyone who encountered him along his eccentric path through life will remember him, he was just that kind of character – for better or worse, someone you remember.
