Danny Lee Englund, born November 5, 1947 in Atlantic, IA to Donald Dee Englund and Ruby Fern Johnson (Englund).

Died December 28, 2021 at Halifax Health Hospice in Ormond Beach

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family & friends. Danny was well known at Harbour Links for his dog walking Business, cat sitting business and shuttling residents to and from the airport.  Danny served his country as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division Air Assault Screaming Eagles during the Vietnam war. Danny will always be known for his beautiful smile.

Danny is survived by his fiancé Bets Peters of Ponce Inlet, FL, one brother Kenny of Council Bluffs, IA, one son Shayne of WI, three grandchildren, Jayce, Hunter & Grace Englund of Council Bluffs, IA and nieces & nephews.

Danny will be honored at a Celebration of Life, February 5, 2022 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3282 in Port Orange, FL from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Please direct memorials to the VFW Post 3282, Eagles FOE 4469 of Daytona Beach, or American Legion Post 270 Port Orange, FL.
