With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for his life, we announce the sudden passing of Darin J. Fox, 33, on May 19, 2026.

Born on December 17, 1992, in Goshen, New York; the son of Holly L. McClelland-Fox and James E. Fox, who now reside in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Darin was skilled in operating heavy equipment, had a CDL license, and drove eighteen wheelers in Texas in his early twenties. In his free time, Darin was a gifted tattoo artist and was working on opening his own tattoo shop and making art all day long.

Darin had a passion for riding his motorcycle. He was full of life and spirit while riding his Harley. “ The louder the better.”

That spirit and huge smile touched all he encountered. He forged many friendships from his love of motorcycles. He was kind, loving and a loyal friend. He would give you the shirt off his back. Darin will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Darin leaves behind his loving parents and brother James D. Fox; his grandparents John and Arlene McClelland of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Jeanne Fox of Middletown, NY.; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and his two kitties, Johnny Cash and June Carter, who were loyal companions. Darin is preceded in death by his baby sister Sarah and his grandfather, Edward J. Fox.

A “Celebration of Life” service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Brannon Center, 105 S Riverside Drive in New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
