Darlene K. Bone, 83 of Leesburg, FL, originally from Decatur, IL, passed away surrounded by family on May 30, 2024. Darlene was born in Taylorville, IL to Raymond and Sylvia Walker. She married the love of her life, Robert, in April 1958. They became over-the-road truck drivers together until Darlene went to work as a Supervisor for Walmart, where she retired. Darlene loved to dance and was in charge of all dances and parties at her HOA clubhouse.

Darlene is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, son Roger, sister Donna, parents and grandparents.

She is survived by daughter, Katherine Brownlee of Leesburg, FL, son Russell Bone, of Ramsey, IL, son Ronald (Shawnerie) Bone, of Deland, FL, daughter, Patricia (Bruce) Lyerly, of Argenta, IL, special friend Rick Martin, of Leesburg, FL, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

One Celebration of Life to be held at Lakeside Village Clubhouse, Leesburg, FL on Sunday, June 23rd at 2:00 p.m.

Second Celebration of Life to be held on Monday, July 22nd at Argenta Community Building at 1:00 p.m. followed by her burial at Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL
