Darrell Wayne Arnold, 74, of Cape Coral Florida sailed on to eternity the morning of July 21st 2024, after winning the fight with cancer.

The open sea was his playground, as wide and free as his spirit. He had a deep rooted passion for sailing that began in his early years. His love of all things nautical was matched only by his love for performing and singing for those he loved. He sang with Chicago Heat and created Redneck Rascal Rock and performed for many in marinas, restaurants, and retirement communities, where he made countless connections with people he loved. Darrell found great interest in restoring vintage cars and boats, mushroom hunting, drawing, and was a meticulous craftsman. He served our Country proudly in in the United States Air Force. He passionately shared patriotic wisdom. Darrell is survived by his love Sandy, his "pretty little girls" Leslie (Jamie), Laura ( Donald) and Lindsey all of North Carolina, his fur son, Radar, his grandchildren that he took pride in being a Papa to, Bobby, Blake (Kristen), Gabby, Brendan, Cody, Kaleb, Hannah, Tatum, Wyatt, Landon, and Colton, and his great grandchildren Athena May, Ashton Cole and Ryder Wade, his brother Sherman (Judy), sisters Tammy and Debbie (Darwin) and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Darrell is reunited in death with his parents William Arnold and Vida McNett Arnold Hill, his brother Bill Arnold, his son Bill Hawkins and his sweet great grandson Brexton Christopher Wayne Williams. Rest well our Daddy / Papa, we will cherish all the memories, your legacy of adventure and love and rejoice in the hope of seeing you again.
