Darrell L. Williams, 86, beloved husband of Bernadette Reichel Williams for 58 years, died peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021, at home.

Darrell, son of the late James R. and V. Ruth (Vass) Williams, was born in Ft. Madison, IA on January 16, 1935. He was a graduate of Wesleyan College and served in the US Army and Army Reserve from 1954 to 1962. He worked in New York City as a Merchandiser Manager for the Spurgeon's Mercantile Company for over 30 years. His passion was growing roses and his garden at a friend's farm. He was a Stephen's Minister for his church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters Angelique and Michelle and four grandchildren, and a nephew. He was overjoyed knowing about the birth of his first great-grandson in April.

He was a generous and caring individual who will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
