David Lee Cox, 44 of North Fort Myers passed away on December 29, 2020 in his home. David was born on March 20, 1976 to Earl W. Cox and Judith L. (Greve) Cox in Peoria, Illinois. He graduated from Macon High School in Macon, Illinois in 1994. He moved from Chicago, Illinois to Fort Myers, Florida in 2005. He worked as a correctional officer and a manager of a deli. He is survived by his Mother Judith L. (Greve) Cox, Fort Myers, Florida, his Uncle David (Priscilla) Greve of Port Charlotte, Florida, his Aunt Wilma Cook of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, his friend Alicia Boyce of LaVista, Nebraska and many cousins and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father Earl W. Cox, his Grandparents, 1 Uncle, 1 Aunt and 3 cousins. There will be a memorial service on January 16th at 2 pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home located at 4320 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Partnerships to End Addiction, 352 Park Avenue South, 9th Floor, New York, New York 10010.
