David Arrel Doane, born on February 20, 1960 in Youngstown OH, passed away on April 28, 2023 at Gulf Coast Hospital, Fort Myers, Fl. He graduated from Poland Seminary High School. ​ David owned and operated Island Marine Services, Fort Myers Fl for many years where he spent his time servicing boats and being on the water. Favorite activities included playing Pool and Dog Training. He was married to Karen Cobane on December 25, 2008 ​ David is survived by his wife, Karen, his mother, Aileen and his father Edward Arrel Doane. As well as his brother Todd Doane of Charlotte N.C.; T.J Doane, his nephew of Charlotte N.C.; his half sister Elisabeth Jarrett of Raliegh N.C.; his nephew, Aidan Jarrett and his niece, Claire Jarrett, also of Raliegh, NC. ​ ​ A Celebration of Life will be held on May 5, 2023 at the Crown Plaza (Bell Tower Mall) Shoeless Joes private room 1 pm to 4 pm.
