David Greis Ospina was born on March 11, 1996, in Brooklyn, New York, to his loving parents, David Greis and Soraya Ospina.

He graduated from Central Florida Community College with a degree in Law Enforcement, beginning a career dedicated to serving and protecting others.

David began his law enforcement career with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office before continuing his service with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, where he became a highly respected and distinguished officer.

Throughout his career, David served in several important roles, including Field Training Officer (FTO) and Patrol Corporal. He was also a member of the Hostage Negotiation Team and served as an academy instructor, sharing his knowledge and experience with fellow officers and the next generation of law enforcement professionals.

Known for his exceptional knowledge, dedication, and professionalism, David earned the respect of those who had the privilege of serving alongside him. His commitment to his profession and to the communities he served reflected his passion for helping others and making a meaningful difference.
