David Wayne Hedrick, age 76, passed away on November 25, 2022, at Advent Hospital, Daytona Beach, with his family by his side.   He was born on December 7, 1945, in Harriman, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Edna "Peggy" Hedrick, Harriman, TN and brother, Wendell Hedrick, Ventura, CA.  Wayne is survived by his wife, Vicki Hedrick; two sons, Brent and wife, Kara Hedrick, Divide, CO and Brice and wife, Jenny Hedrick, Spicer, MN; six grandchildren, Kailin, Jake and Liam Hedrick, Divide, CO, and Blake, Carsten and Tanner Hedrick, Spicer, MN; nephew, Luke Hedrick, Kingston, TN, nephew, Shaun Hedrick, and niece, Lauren Hedrick, Ventura, CA; cousin, Garrey Hedrick and his daughters, Denie Burchfield and Carrey Hedrick.

Wayne was a member of First Baptist Church Leesburg. He loved hunting, fishing, mini golf and target shooting at the range with family and friends. He and Vicki also loved traveling together to historical sites and exploring other fun destinations.

A memorial service has not been set at this time.  His ashes will be spread at a future date in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

Wayne is loved dearly by his family and friends, and he will always be in our hearts.
