David Franklin Hoyt 78, of East Lansing Michigan passed away February 18, 2022 in Orlando Florida.  David was born in Bethesda, Ohio son to Rev. Claremont and Margaret Hoyt.  He was a real estate agent and served honorably as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter; Susan Elizabeth Hoyt Luter and her husband Todd Luter of Lansing, Michigan, son; Jonathan David Hoyt and Nicole Porubsky of Holt Michigan, Long time partner; Della Gregory of East Lansing, Michigan, sisters; Josephine Bero and husband Burke Bero of Chatham, MA , Margaret Nasemann of Hudson, MA; grandchildren; Brynne (Luter) Rivet and husband Patrick Rivet, Aslynne Luter and Peyton Martin. David was a life-long Model train enthusiast and Lionel collector. He loved to play  golf and tennis, to watch movies – especially science fiction, and to travel in his free time. David was a man who found good in every person.   His everyday goal was to try and make life easier and better for everyone.A memorial service will be held, 1:00 pm,  May 21, 2022 at Eastminister Presbyterian Church 1315 Abbot Road East Lansing, Michigan.  48823.  In lieu of  Flowers donations may be made in his memory to Eastminister Presbyterian Church.
