David "Dave" Joseph Moore, Jr., 83, of Grand Island, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025. Born on September 14, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dave was the beloved son of David and Catherine Moore.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force and a dedicated member of the Sheriff's Office, Dave spent his life protecting and serving others.

Dave was a kind, friendly soul whose warmth touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He was married for 60 wonderful years to the love of his life, Donna, and together they shared a deep bond built on love, laughter, and mutual respect.

He is survived by his devoted wife Donna, his two loyal dogs Jocko and Buddy, and his sister Donna O'Keefe of Maryland. He also leaves behind several cherished nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.

Per his wishes, no formal services are planned. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Food Bank of your choice or to the American Cancer Society in Dave's memory.
