David Thomas Liska Sr, 85 of The Villages, FL passed away Saturday July 12, 2025.

Dave was born June 4, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Kathryn W. Liska.

Dave served 22 years in the United States Navy; he was a Vietnam Vet and retired as a Master Chief Avionics Technician (AVCM) in May of 1999. After retiring, he became a federal contractor, contributing to projects like developing the P-3 Airborne Early Warning Aircraft for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and leading a team at the FAA to enhance aircraft-to-controller communication.

Dave is survived by his children Tom Liska, Michele Dawson (Darren) and his grandson Cody Liska.

Committal Services will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on September 26, 2025, at 11:30am.
