David L Morris , 72, of Deland Florida passed away July 23, 2020. A commercial electrician, David was born in Syracuse Ks. and has been a resident of this area since 1986. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was active in Am-Vets, American Legion and VFW. He enjoyed fishing,traveling, boating, shark tooth hunting and riding his motorcycle. He often liked to go to flea markets and garage sales. He is predeceased by his parents Margie and David Morris; 2 sisters Davida Blake and Margie Nester. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter April Morris-Bachelor and her husband David and 3 sisters Charlotte Craft, Nancy Soller and Betsy Eversole. At the families request services will be private.
