David John Murphy passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026.tuque twister

He was the youngest child of Dorothy and James Murphy, born on November 19, 1961 and raised in Brentwood-In-The-Pines, Long Island, New York.

David approached life with a rare independence and found peace in nature, preferring quiet moments taking photos of the sunrises on the lake where he lived in Fruitland Park, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Patrick Murphy and his older brother, William (Bill) Murphy.

Those left to share his stories are his mother, Dorothy E. Murphy, son David J. Murphy, daughters Mary Ramazzini (Eric), and Ashley Murphy, sister Susan Howarth (Jack), brothers Jimmy Murphy (Maryanne), and Mark Murphy (Catherine).

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
