On Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the age of ninety, David F. Priest, a beloved husband, passed away in Tavares Florida. David led a happy active life filled with family, friends and many activities such as painting, sailing, running and camping. After serving a short while in the Navy, David returned home to Michigan to attend Eastern Michigan University. In 1962 David married his sweetheart Margaret Knisel and they had 62 years together. They have 2 children, Lisa (Laurence) Neuman and Michael (Valerie) and 5 grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Allison, Adam and Andrew.

He is preceded in death by his parents Susanna (Woodhams) and Alger, his siblings Margaret (James) Ray, Herbert and Myron. He is survived by Roger and Delmer.

David's wish to be cremated will be honored and his ashes spread in Memorial Gardens in Florida and Michigan. Memorial services will be held at later dates. In lieu of giving flowers, the family asks that donations be made to United Church of Christ, 302 N St Clair Abrams Ave, Tavares, FL 32778
