John David Rimsa, 68, of Seminole, FL, passed away July 25, 2026. He was born in Greenfield, Mass. on August 16, 1957 to John and Mary Rimsa (Mary Moore), and was a "Warhawk" Alumni of Seminole High School's Class of 1975. After high school, David continued his education and received a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA, as well as an undergraduate degree through the University of Florida. He was a proud member of the American Pharmacists Association, and eventually retired from his career as a licensed pharmacist for HCA Florida Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Aside from his medical career, David also had a passion for staying fit, and he especially enjoyed football, baseball, and wrestling. He had a vast taste in different music genres, and he loved visiting the beach, car racing, concert going, and cruising the ocean.

David is survived by his loyal life partner, Katherine J. Hiley, with whom he was in a registered domestic partnership; his son, Stuart Brandon Gilley; and his brother, Daniel Rimsa.

A Memorial Service will take place for David at 11:00 am on August 29, 2026, at Connect2Christ Church in Seminole, FL.
