David
Sivesind
November 9, 1959 – April 8, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Earl Sivesind, Sr.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Maurice Sivesind, and Beverly Lou
Sivesind, and by his sister, Mary Harrington.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Ann Sivesind, and his two children in California: David
Earl Sivesind, Jr. (Shanna Weiss) Tiffanie Ann Richardson (Liam Waters)
Dave is also survived by his brother, Jeff (Danette) Sivesind.
He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Talan Richardson, Hudson Waters,
Connor Sivesind, Riley Sivesind, Kurt Sivesind, and Alanna Pendleton. He leaves
behind many dear friends, several of whom he considered family.
Dave was a devoted family man who found joy in riding his Harley, fishing, boating,
camping, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He was known for his strong opinions, his
big personality, and his remarkable ability to “fix anything.”
Although he and Connie met later in life, they embraced every moment together. They
spent cherished time in the Florida Keys, traveled to Europe, camped, fished, kayaked, and
created countless memories with family and friends. Their years together were filled with
adventure, laughter, love, and deep companionship.
Originally from Simi Valley, California, Dave also lived in Show Low, Arizona, before
making his final home in Ocala, Florida.
He built a distinguished career, beginning in the aerospace industry and later transitioning
into the concrete field. His final employment was with Preferred Materials, where he was
admired for his dedication, work ethic, and experience.
