David L Smith Sr, passed away on October 6, 2023, a devoted race fan, great friend and loving life partner to Patricia Furst.

He is survived by his children and grandchildren.

David will always be remembered for his unwavering passion for racing and his kind and loyal nature. He was a beloved father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy will live on through the memories he shared and the love he left behind.
