David Daniel Spence, 51 of New Smyrna Beach died Thursday, May 16, 2019 peacefully at his home with his family by his side.  David was born May 29, 1967 in Chicago, IL to the late John Earl Spence and Lillian Hazel Pierritz Spence-Miller.  He moved to Florida in 1985.  David married Michelle Ann Lee on September 16, 2001.  They settled in New Smyrna Beach to raise their family.  He worked as an Assistant Market Manager-Meat Cutter for Winn Dixie at the Edgewater store for many years.  David will be remember for his love of music and as a drummer.  He enjoyed cycling and drawing.  David is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; devoted children, Eryca and David; mother, Lillian Miller; sister, Dawn Link and brother, John Spence.  Private services will be held.
