David Paul Thompson (Ewing), 54, born in Sarasota, Florida, passed away on December 14, 2024.

He is survived by his daughters, Calli e E. Thompson, 28, Michelle M. Thompson, 17, and Gracie Cioffi, 13.

He is also survived by his sister, Brandy Kara, her husband Mark, his niece Mallory, and his uncles, Eric L. Dunham and Larry Dunham.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Joan Upton; his father, Robert David Thompson; his adopted father, Gary Wayne Ewing; his grandmother, Kay Dunham; and his grandfather, Larry Dunham, who passed shortly after David.

David had a passion for fishing and enjoyed boating in the ocean. He loved spending time on the water, exploring, traveling, and appreciating the outdoors. David was a dedicated fan of the Florida Gators and the Dallas Cowboys. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will always cherish the time they shared with him.
