Soon after, David enlisted in the Army National Guard, where he served proudly for six years before being honorably discharged in 1976. After his service, he transitioned into a successful career in retail management, where he worked for various businesses until his retirement at the age of 65.

David was known for his fun-loving, outgoing nature. His generous spirit and infectious personality brightened the lives of those who knew him. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors, always seeking adventure and creating lasting memories with those he loved.

David is survived by his children, Jason (Amanda) Tuttle, Jennifer (Ian) Wyllie, and Jaron (Heather) Tuttle, as well as his eight grandchildren, Madelyn and Matthew Wyllie, Parker, Zoi, Keegan, Liam, Everly, and Owen Tuttle.
