David M. Verna, 83, of Ocala died Sunday March 27, 2016 at Legacy House.  He was born October 18, 1932 in Rochester, New York the son of Charles and Josephine (nee Affannato) Verna.  He graduated from Cornell University and worked as a General Contractor in the construction industry.  He served in the U S Army during the Korean War from 1953 until 1955.He moved to Florida from New York in 1966.  He enjoyed photography.  He is survived by a daughter, Tracy Flanagan of Ocala, FL;  Son, Charles Verna of Ocala, FL and by daughter Lynne Stark-Derais of Orlando, FL and by four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Services will be held at a later date.
