In loving memory of David John Wieckhorst, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 4th, 2023. David was born on April 20, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan.  He served in the Air Force from 1962 to 1966 as a Radio Relay Eq uipment Repairman.  David was a devoted husband to his wife, Barbara Holton Wieckhorst. David was incredibly generous, good humored, devoted and always ready for a deep conversation. He was a skilled woodworker who loved construction and took pride in his fine craftsmanship.  David will be remembered for his kind and generous nature, love for people, even temperament, trustworthiness, and gentle smile.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, and his children Douglas and Denise; grandchildren Justin and Jenna; step-children, Roger and Randy; step grandchild Brooke; and his sister, Barbara.  David attended Oxford Assembly of God.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be arranged by Baldwin Brothers in Wildwood.
