Deanna Riggs, 64, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her fiercely and will forever feel the warmth of her presence.

Born Deanna Wade Billups on October 11, 1961. She was preceded in death by her father, Perry Gene Billups, who passed away during her childhood. Though their time together was cut short, his memory remained an important part of her life.

Deanna was known for her loving heart, warm spirit, and vibrant personality. She had a way of making people feel welcomed and cared for, and her energy could light up a room. Family was always at the center of her life, and she gave her love freely and wholeheartedly.

Deanna was a devoted mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her son, Todd Riggs, and his wife, Tori Riggs; her daughter, Jessica Thompson, and her husband, Jeff Thompson; her mother, Rebecca Billups; her brothers, Kit Billups and Michael Billups, and Michael’s wife, Karen Billups; her niece, Jennifer Clements; and her nephew, Patrick Billups.

Her most cherished role was being Nana to her grandchildren, Hunter Thompson and Nora Riggs. They were the joy of her life, and she delighted in every moment spent with them. Her love for them was boundless, and her legacy will live on through their lives.

Deanna will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the vibrant love she shared with everyone around her. Though her passing was sudden and unexpected, the impact she made and the love she gave will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
