Debbie Furtado, age 68, was taken by God on March 20th, 2024. She passed away peacefully at home in North Port. Debbie was born in Taunton Massachusetts and moved to Florida in 2021. She is survived by her 3 sisters, Cheryl Furtado, Shirley Freitas, and her husband Tony, Joanne Desjardins, and her husband Ray, and preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth, and her parents Edward Furtado and Shirley Almeida.  She is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews who she loved very much; Anthony Freitas and wife Jeni, Adam Freitas and wife Kelly, Matthew Desjardins, Michelle Francisco and husband Paul, and Samantha Freitas; and 5 great nieces and nephews; Brayden, Allie, Chelsey, Isabella and Landon, who she also adored.

Debbie retired from retail work and was an avid Boston Bruins fan (and New York Jets).  Debbie loved her 2 dogs, Tiki and Decker.

She will be laid to rest in Taunton Massachusetts, with her parents and sister.
