Deborah Lynn Karlsen (nee. Schaedel)

Born July 27, 1957, Departed this world, June 5, 2025.

Deborah also known as Debbie, Deb or Princess, beloved mother to Kristoffer (Kristen) Karlsen and beloved grandmother to Leif and Kaia Karlsen, of Nixa, MO, passed away at her home in North Fort Myers, FL, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Chicago, IL in 1957 to Walther & Margo Schaedel. Debbie spent her childhood in McHenry, IL and moved to North Fort Myers, FL later in life with her long-term partner Joe Wandolowski, Sr. Debbie enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren as well as being with her adopted emotional support Husky, Willow.

Debbie enjoyed the many years spent in North Fort Myers, FL with Joe.  They enjoyed boating, fishing, riding motorcycles, attending and participating in car shows and enjoying life. Debbie also enjoyed attending events at her community and had a passion for oysters Rockefeller.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Walther Jr. mother, Margo, brother Keith and the love of her life, Joe. She is survived by her son, Kristoffer (Kristen) Karlsen, grandchildren Leif and Kaia, her brother Craig (Kim) Schaedel and many nieces and nephews, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

Interment will be private at Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
