Delma Douglas Dunn, (95), of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024.

Delma Dunn, fondly known as D.D., was born to Marwood and Willie Ruth Dunn, on November 10, 1928, in Olla, Louisiana.

As a Veteran of the US Navy, D.D. was a Naval Aviator who bravely flew combat missions in both the Korean and Vietnam wars.  He retired quietly in 1972 and moved to rural Arkansas after serving his country with honor for 25-years.  As a father, D.D.  provided a stable and loving home where his children were raised to respect God, Country and each other.  He was always available to provide wisdom and kind advice when it was most needed.  His reverent and independent virtues were an integral part of who he was until the moment of his passing.

D.D. was preceded in death by his loving wife Anne; his parents; siblings; and three children from a previous marriage.  He's survived by his daughter Susan; sons Robert and Richard; and three grandchildren.
