Denise Ann Swope, 69, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away on June 23, 2020 at Lee Memorial Health Park, Ft. Myers, FL. She was born on April 7, 1951 in Oak Park, IL to the late Rodney and Patricia (Warnow) Dusterhoft. Denise was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, and she loved fine cooking and home decorating. She worked as a Cashier at Publix, where she loved her customers and many of her co-workers were "family" to her. Denise is survived by her sister, Dawn Sosinski and her husband Tom of Wilmington, NC; her niece, Leslie Michaud and her husband Ethan of Harrisburg, NC; her nephew, Christopher Bestwick and his wife Katie of Wilmington, NC; her niece, Madison Offenburg and her husband Frank of Durham, NC; her niece, Megan Sadoski of Wilmington, NC; her 6 great nieces and nephews; and her good friend, Jim McCoy. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Ft. Myers, FL.
