Dennis Paul Simons, 76, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on July 15, 2021 at Halifax Hospice in Ormond Beach. Dennis was born on June 15, 1945 in Oswego, New York. He was the middle child of five to parents Howard and Elsie Simons. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After that he attended/graduated Rochester Business Institute, Empire State College and Niagara University.

In his early career he was Vice President of sales at Advanced Training Center Inc. in Buffalo, N.Y.  In 1989 he started U.S. 1 Home Crafters Inc., and in 1991 SKEET'R BEAT'R screens in Ormond Beach and the surrounding areas of Volusia County. This family-owned business is still in operation. His hobbies included playing golf regularly, watching Nascar races and playing the guitar, which all gave him great joy and peace of mind.

Dennis was predeceased by sister Patricia Muldoon, brother Richard Simons and David "Kim" Simons.

Dennis is survived by his wife Marylou Simons of 52 years; daughter Tracy Norman and her husband Scott Norman of York, South Carolina; son Chad Simons and his wife Katie Simons of Port Orange, Florida; sister Jill Roof of Cicero, N.Y. and many nieces and nephews. He was a beloved husband, father, and brother, who will forever be remembered as the consummate provider, loveable jokester, and the rock of his immediate and extended family.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, 1185 W. Granada Blvd. #11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Dennis' memory to Halifax Hospice in Ormond Beach in his name.
