Obituary

Dennis N. Stocker, 84, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026. He was born on September 24, 1941.

Dennis shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rosalee, building a life centered on love, laughter, and family. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for six years and spent four of those years as a pitcher for the U.S. Navy baseball team while stationed in Japan. His dedication, teamwork, and love of the game remained a source of pride throughout his life.

Following his military service, Dennis became the owner of Ro-Con Pest Control, where he earned the respect and friendship of countless customers through his honesty, hard work, and genuine care for others.

Dennis had a passion for life's simple pleasures. He was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan, loved listening to oldies and country music, enjoyed a good round of golf, and never passed up the chance for an occasional trip to the casino. More than anything, Dennis was known for his fun-loving spirit and wonderful sense of humor. A natural jokester, he could strike up a conversation with anyone who crossed his path, leaving people smiling with his warmth, wit, and friendly personality.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rosalee Stocker of Apopka, Florida, and his daughter, Jennifer Stocker of Eustis, Florida.

Dennis was preceded in death by his son, David Stocker, and by his parents, Stanley and Eva Stocker.

Dennis will be remembered for his generous heart, quick smile, unwavering love for his family, and his remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Dennis's memory.
