Denny Gorden Rager, Sr, age 86 of Ft Myers , passed away peacefully on August 21, 2023 at Hope Hospice. Denny was born September 10,1936 in Toledo Ohio. He completed school in Toledo and served 6 years in the United States Air Force. Denny moved to Ft. Myers in 1977 with his family. Denny enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He played hockey in his younger years and loved cars. Denny was preceded in death by parents Richard and Lillian Rager, his brother Dick Rager and son Denny Rager Jr. He is survived by his children: Denise Checketts (Kerry), Doreen Bucher, Tammy Munzert (Keith) and Shelly Robinson (Earl); his grandchildren: Erin Nielson (Nick), Ainslee Trinchitella (Charles), Kristina Lawrence (Justin), Brandon Bucher (Stephanie), Ryan Munzert (Angelica), Lauren Miller (Dylan), Sierra Rush (Dion) Trey Rager and Reid Rager; 8 great grandchildren and one due in December.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
