Dericia Marschell Ketcherside, 63, of Lehigh Acres, passed away unexpectedly, as a result of an accident in Fort Myers, FL., on July 18, 2021. Born November 23, 1957, in Fort Madison, IA., she was the daughter of Earl Leroy Patton and Marcelena Druscella Edgington. Dericia received a bachelor of arts degree from Iowa Wesleyan University, moving to southwest Florida from DeSoto, MO. in July 2018; and had most recently worked as a social worker in community service with the government. She was a member of the Eastern Star Masonic Lodge. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and collecting. Surviving are her sisters, Darcella Brewer of Palmyra, MO., and Debborah M. Patton of Villa Ridge, MO., son, Michael Lee Patton and wife, Treasure of Lehigh Acres, FL., grandsons, Ryan Michael Patton, Jackson Rylie Patton, and Joseph Tucker Patton, all of Festus, MO., and Lex Faith Patton and partner, Nikki, of St. Louis, MO., Zachary N. Wilson and wife, Brittany of Cape Coral, FL., and Colten M. Wilson of Cape Coral, FL., great grandsons, Conner and Landon; along with many nieces and nephews.
