Dermot "Joe" Nolan, 42 of Casselberry, FL passed away at the hospital on August 16, 2019. Born July 25,1977 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of father Dermot C. Nolan, Richard W. Gesso, and mother Carolyn C. Gesso. He met his fiance Mary Ptaszynski in 2008. They had daughter Destiny Ortiz, daughter Alexus Ortiz, son Justin Ortiz, and grandson Dominic Joseph Ortiz. He moved to Florida in 2007. Dermot worked as a construction worker, cook, and security for many years.

Dermot leaves behind his loving mother Carolyn C. Gesso, step father Richard W. Gesso, father Dermot Nolan, sister Carol Irene Longbrake, brother in-law Michael Longbrake, niece Kendall Irene Kilmer, Fiance Mary Ptaszynski, daughter Destiny Ortiz, daughter Alexus Ortiz, son Justin Ortiz, and grandson Dominic Joseph Ortiz.

He enjoyed fishing with his buddies, camping, swimming with the kids, and sports. He had a true passion for his animals, he leaves behind his dogs Murphy, Popeye, Otis, Sweet Pea who has passed, and cat Mugsy. Dermot was always a joy to be around, he had a great smile and the best bear hugs one could give. His humor and stories will forever be a memory in all our hearts.
