Obituary

Diane “Cookie” Falcone, age 77, passed away peacefully on Jan. 20, 2026, with her devoted husband, Richard Miller, at her side. She was born on May 19, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA.

A graduate of Atlantic City High School, Cookie spent 20 years working at Hilton Casino, where she was employed as a concierge hostess, catering to high rollers and touching the lives of everyone she served. She was proud to earn Employee of the Year in recognition of her strong work ethic and dedication to her clientele.

Cookie found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved sitting on the porch and drinking coffee with friends and family, listening to music, and dancing. She also enjoyed spending time at the casino, and at home she was a fiercely competitive card player. Later in life, she enjoyed playing golf with her husband in their retirement community in The Villages, Florida. A devoted animal lover, Cookie shared her life with many pets over the years, and she leaves behind her treasured cats, Boo and Rosey.

Cookie was the epicenter of so many people’s lives. She will be remembered for her dedication to family and friends, her warmth, and compassion. Everyone felt at home in her presence. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard; her beloved sons, Vincent (Melissa) and Lorenzo (Jessica); daughters, Judy (Nicole), Kathy, and Kris; several nieces and nephews; her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vincent; her mother, Dorothy; her sisters, Charmaine, Gloria, and Janet; and her brother, Charles (Skippy).

To honor Cookie’s life in a way that feels true to her and her family, we invite those who wish to pay their respects to leave a message, share a story, offer condolences, or honor her memory in a way that feels special to them. A private graveside ceremony will be held in the spring to honor her final wishes.
