Diane Marie Thompson (LaBrosse), age 72, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born in 1950 to James H. and Victoria A. LaBrosse (Skrzysinski) and was the first-born child in the family. In 1969, she married the love of her life, David C. Thompson. They lived together in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area for 49 years before relocating to Leesburg, Florida.

Diane is survived by her husband, David; Theresa (Shawn) Gnass (daughter) of Howell, MI; David M. Thompson, (son) of Avoca, MI; her daughter, Michelle Costanza's husband, Don Costanza of Fort Wayne, IN; Dan (Ann) Seffernick (son) of Delavan, WI; Jeff Thompson (son) of Leesburg, FL; Tialer (Kailey) Dubea (grandson); Courtney (Andrew) Graham (granddaughter); Tyler (Nora) Gnass (grandson); Ashley Costanza (granddaughter); Ameen Thompson (grandson); Megan Larocque (granddaughter); Amani Thompson (granddaughter); Tim (Maxine) LaBrosse (brother); Hank (Jeanne) LaBrosse, (brother); Jeff (Irene) LaBrosse (brother); Tom LaBrosse (brother); and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Michelle.

Favorite pastimes included shopping, traveling, dancing, being in the water, spending time with her grandchildren, ice cream, playing games, bringing her family and friends together, giving to others and most of all, celebrating and decorating for Christmas. Diane particularly enjoyed feeding others and would cook much more than she needed just so that she could share it with others.

She enjoyed spending time with her friends at events at the clubhouse, whether it was a potluck dinner or dance. She loved that living in Leesburg provided her with the weather that afforded her to be out in her community year-round, taking golf cart rides and getting together with her friends. Diane will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the home of John and Margaret Schwartz, 12705 Witmer Road, Grabill, Indiana. A separate celebration of life was held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Brittany Estates Clubhouse in Leesburg, FL for friends and family local to that area.
