Dianne (Di)
Marie Loudon
January 25, 1947 – March 8, 2022
Dianne (Di) passed away peacefully in Orlando, FL at 7:57am on March 8 th , 2022. Born Dianne Marie Lessard on January 25 th , 1947, in New Orleans, LA, the eldest of seven children to Alban Lessard and Patricia Larabee (Howe, Lessard), Dianne resided in Louisiana, Mississippi, Colorado, New Jersey, and finally in her dream residential destination of Florida.
During her residency in New Jersey, Dianne raised her children while working full time and continuing her education, taking her to a successful career with the State of New Jersey, leading to her retirement. Dianne was a long time highly active member of the ladies auxiliary of the Ocean County American Legion where she and her husband Bill met. In their retirement, Dianne and Bill were able to travel to many places, including Hawaii and many trips to spend time and holidays with family. With all her accomplishments, Dianne prided herself most on family, especially her grandchildren – Nana will be missed terribly.
Dianne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, William (Bill) Loudon, her granddaughter, Brittney Anne Speer, her parents, Alban and Patricia, and her siblings, Joseph Lessard, Linda Allen (Lessard), Theresa (Terry) Crosby (Lessard), and Daniel Lessard. She is survived by her children, Kim Simone (Babin), Kevin Babin, Michelle Santangelo, her stepchildren, James Loudon, Lynda Megill (Loudon), and Scott Loudon; her 8 grandchildren, Waylon Speer, Alexis Reynolds, Emily Megill, David Megill, Aiden Mefill, Sarah Megill, Jake Loudon, and Alyssa Loudon, and her siblings, Michael Lessard and Catherine Carter (Lessard).
Condolences, Memories, Photos, and Stories are welcome to be shared at DianneLTribute@gmail.com (content may be shared in her tribute video and on social media). The family has decided that due to loved ones and friends of Dianne living so far apart, we will attend her favorite places in remembrance. Celebration of life will be held in her state of birth, Louisiana, where most surviving relatives reside. We invite you to share and we will post of the celebration.
