Dixie Romans passed away on January 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She has now been reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 54 years, Johnny Romans.

Dixie dedicated many years of service as the North Area Transportation Supervisor for the Brevard County School Board, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to the community. Outside of her career, she found great joy in collecting antiques and treasured the time she spent with her grandson, Brandon, who was the light of her life.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Romans and Tracie Turner; her grandson, Brandon Biddle; her nephews, Richard Dobbs, Terry Dobbs, and Jimmy Dobbs; her niece, Sue Ann Wallace; and many loving friends who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville.

Dixie will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
