Dolores Burkard On May 31, 2023, Dolores took the party to Heaven! She was born in Detroit, MI on December 23, 1927 to Albert Bashour and Clara Witt. She is survived by her son, John E. Burkard, Jr. (Pam) of NSB; daughter, Linda E. Ross (Wayne) of Port Orange; son, Jeffery S. Burkard (Claire) of NSB; and sister, Judith Jamieson of Clawson, MI along with their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended families. She was predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) E. Burkard, Sr. and her son Michael T. Burkard of NSB. In 1966 after her youngest child started school, she entered the world of Real Estate and hit the ground running. She started with Country Club Realty in Dearborn, MI and moved to Florida in 1978 where she continued "selling" for 50 years! She loved to travel, never said No to a party, and was always attending a class, seminar or convention. There will be a private family gathering at a later date at her final resting place in the St. Peter the Fisherman Episcopal Church Memorial Garden in NSB. If you knew Dolores you know she had a "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" attitude. Gather with friends, have a party, crank up the music, dance and raise a glass in toast to her! Her Spirit lives on!
