Dona Ruth Albright , age 77, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 5th, surrounded by her daughter Rebecca, Rebecca's husband Jason, granddaughter Briana and her beloved dogs.

Dona was born on September 13, 1947 in Vernon, Texas to Ewald Alfred Schulz and Mary Frances Bodling Martin. She grew up and attended school in Lockett, Texas, and went on to join the Women's Army Corps after graduation from high school. She served from May 1966 to February 1969. She lived in Florida, Texas, and Georgia throughout her life.

She was known for her love of her family, her kindness to others, and her love of technology. Friends and family will remember her frequently posting pictures on Facebook from her favorite game GardenQuest. She loved the community of friends the game introduced her to from all over the world and it provided her with companionship during the Corona virus pandemic.

Dona is survived by her daughters Rebecca Noll and Sondra Carter, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her three beloved dogs Spaz, Sportster, and Layla, and two siblings Patty Haney and Wayne Schulz. She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis L. Albright, her parents Ewald A. Schulz and Mary Frances Martin, and her brother David Schulz.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Autism Society of Greater Orlando (ASGO) in her memory or leave stories of your fondest memories with Dona, share pictures with or of her, or sympathy cards sent to her daughter Rebecca Noll in Leesburg, Florida.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Advent Waterman Hospital for providing exceptional care for Dona during all her visits, treatments, and admissions; Cornerstone Hospice for all their kindness, care, and support during her final transition; her house cleaner Thresa Paquette for the care, kindness, laughter, and conversations; Peg Hopper and Paul Motto for all their kindness and support; Dawgy Styles grooming for taking great care of her beloved pups; and everyone that has been a part of her circle and supported her and Rebecca thru the years.
