Donald Boesler, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, in Fort Myers, Florida, at the age of 93. Born on May 15, 1933, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Don lived a life rich in love, laughter, and service to others.

Don was the cherished son of Freda and Arthur Boesler. He was proud to call Philadelphia home during his formative years, when he graduated high school in 1953. Donald pursued higher education at Penn State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering. This academic achievement marked the beginning of a successful career as a Mechanical Engineer and eventually as Lead Engineer at CertainTeed. The professional life was characterized by dedication, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.

In June 1958, Donald married the love of his life, Diane Leonard. Their union was filled with joyous memories and a profound love that spanned over 60 years. Together, they built a beautiful family, a testament to their devotion to one another. Don and Diane created a warm and nurturing home, safeguarding the bonds of family, which always remained a priority.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Jill, and son, Dave; and his treasured grandchildren, Scott and Craig; and great-grandchildren, Elliott and Evelyn, who brought endless joy to his life. He leaves behind his devoted nephews Art, James and niece, Nancy and extended families.

Throughout Donald’s life, Don embraced various interests, but none compared to the love he had for their family. Whether it was sharing his love for jazz or embarking on family travels, they cherished every moment spent with their loved ones, creating lasting memories that will forever be held dear. Every Sunday was a day for God, relaxing, and cheering his favorite team on, Go Phillies!

Donald was also an active member of their community, participating in church outings and various clubs and organizations. Don’s quiet demeanor, yet quick wit and infectious laughter could light up any room, often providing a much-needed dose of humor that people liked being around. Yet he was equally known for his unwavering support, always ready to be the rock his inner circle needed, offering a listening ear or a comforting embrace. Don’s legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. As we say goodbye to this extraordinary man, we carry their memory in our hearts, forever grateful for the time we shared.
