Donald A. Collum, 78, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.

Donald was born on April 28, 1947, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. A master mechanic by trade, Donald owned and operated his own business for many years and was widely known as a true “car guy.” He had a lifelong passion for automobiles, especially auto racing and restoring classic cars. His work and hobbies reflected his dedication, skill, and love for all things mechanical.

Beyond his career and hobbies, Donald cherished time spent with his family and friends. He married the love of his life, Brenda Morris, on October 10, 1968, and together they built a life centered around family.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Collum; his son, Keith Donald Collum; and his great-granddaughter, Abbriella Elliott.

He is survived by his children: Ella Ray Caltagirone-Drucker and her husband Mitch Drucker; James Collum and his wife Christina Collum; and Crystal Collum. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who will continue to carry his memory forward.

Donald will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of cars, and the deep love he had for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
