Donald Wayne Guthrie, Sr age 77, died of Natural Causes on August 4, 2023 in Port Orange, FL

Don is survived by his wife Diane, his daughters Kelly, Dana, Toni and Ronnie, his son Donnie, 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 2 step children Chuck and Neil and 1 step grandson. He is preceded in death by his father Raymond Guthrie, mother Naomi Guthrie, and sister Betty Guthrie

Don was born on November 8, 1945 in Baltimore, MD to parents Raymond and Naomi Guthrie. He spent almost 3 years with the Air Force ANGUS during the Vietnam war, and received the NDSM AFM 900-3 medal. He then began his career in computer engineering until he retired. He remained in Maryland until 2017 when he moved to Port Orange, Fl. He loved boating, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of numerous boat clubs throughout his life and enjoyed fixing things. There wasn't a mechanical device he couldn't fix. He was honest and you knew exactly how he felt. He would help anyone who needed it, whether he was asked or not. He will be missed!
