Donald D. Heggemeier Sr. passed away on Friday, July 7 ^th , 2023, at his home in North Fort Myers, Fl. He was born July 10, 1933, in Princeton, Illinois to Walter and Maggie (née Faust) Heggemeier. On June 17, 1950, he married Donna Hasenyager.

Surviving Donald are his daughter, Janet (Milton) Piper of The Villages, FL; sons, Donald D. Jr. (Diane) of MN, Gary (Joan) of S.C., Jeffery (Lisa) of Cape Coral, FL, and Bryan (Laura) of Fort Myers, FL; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; as well as 3 great great-grandchildren.

Wife of 70 years, Donna; daughters, Pamela (Randy) Strader, Terry (Gregg) Forth, and Debra Kay (Tim) Foling; as well sisters, Doris Watkins and Donna Boehle preceded him in death.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
