Donald Krause, 74, of Longwood Florida passed away June 6, 2018 at Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs, Florida. He was born in Preston, Minnesota to Oscar A. and Marjorie Joy Scheevel Krause. He attended Preston Township School, Preston High School, and Westmar College in Le Mars, Iowa where he was on a Football Scholarship. In September 1963, Donald hitchhiked from Preston to Salem Oregon where he met his wife Bobbie. Donald was known for his love of wines. In the Mid 70's he became interested in the Oregon Wine Council. When living in California he had a particular fondness for Zinfandel Grayson in the mid 90's. Subsequently became known as "the ZIN man." He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bobbie, daughter Yvonne L Krause, son Michael T. Krause, two grandchildren Hope and Nicole and brother Clifford Krause. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Harriet Krause Hall. He will be layed to rest in Cape Canaveral Cemetery on December 17, 2018.
